The significance of beginning the tour in Knoxville is simple... The Vols. Swiperboy made a huge splash in Tennessee during his college years, as a student athlete at the University of Tennessee. He ended up becoming the "unofficial mascot" of the Volunteer fan base, having created numerous anthems for the University.
